Thermage® is a medical device company that is dedicated to developing and commercializing advanced radiofrequency (RF) based technologies for Dermatology and Plastic Surgery applications.
Thermage was originally founded in 1995 by Dr. Edward W. Knowlton, who has authored over 20 patents related to its unique RF technology. The company's first product, the ThermaCool Tissue Contraction System™, is FDA cleared for the non-invasive treatment of periorbital rhytids. This device uses an advanced and unique form of radiofrequency to tighten tissue and achieve a more youthful appearance.
Thermage has most recently been approved not just in the periorbital area, but also full face, neck, BODY including abds, thighs, buttocks, arms ... and now even EYELIDS.
Dr. Anne White was one of the first cosmetic surgeons in the southeast to offer the Thermage for her patients. We have performed literally HUNDREDS of Thermage treatments for our patients since its introduction in 2003. We are pleased that physicians and their staffs from North Carolina and from various parts of the US have recognized our expertise in the Thermage procedure, and have visited Carolina Laser & Cosmetic Center to study our techniques, and to learn our systems and procedures. Dr. White is one of the few physicians in the North Carolina to have completed all advanced courses and been certified by the Thermage company not just in treatment of the face, but also in BODY BY THERMAGE and EYES BY THERMAGE.

Treatment can sometimes be performed the same day as consultation if arrangements have been made in advance, or within a couple of weeks after the consultation. Dr White's fee for your personal consultation is $100. The cost of the consultation will be deducted from the cost of the procedure if the procedure is performed within 30 days of the consultation.
Our staff, who have had Thermage themselves, can take the time to discuss your wishes and options, and answer your questions. No referral is required.
