Ready to lose your tattoo? Do it better and faster!
We are one of only 3 facilities in North Carolina to offer the latest advance in Laser Tattoo Removal ... Picosure® for faster tattoo removal in fewer treatments and REVLITE® the "gold standard" for removal of red pigment. Note: Medlite C3 and C6 are older models and are not as effective at tattoo removal.
With the rising popularity of tattoos, there has been a simultaneous rise in the number of people who wish to have their tattoos removed. For some, tattoos represent an impulsive decision that now may affect the rest of their lives. For others, the tattoos from their youth are simply no longer relevant to their lives today. Although a tattoo looks like a simple painting on the skin, it's actually a series of ink deposits placed deep into the skin - designed to last forever. The reality is that thousands of people decide to remove their tattoos each year because the designs are no longer relevant to their lifestyle.
Lasers are the safest and most effect way to remove tattoos. Carolina Laser and Cosmetic Center has used lasers to remove tattoos for many years. Our results speak for themselves.
"We offer the fastest treatment time and the least number of treatments to achieve excellent results," says Dr. Anne White, a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Dr. White oversees all laser treatments in the state-of-the-art laser center. "Picosure® is the "Gold Standard" for fast effective tattoo removal. Revlite is still best for removal of red pigment."
PicoSure® Laser Tattoo Removal
The world's first and only picosecond aesthetic laser cleared by the FDA. Recognized as a breakthrough in tattoo and brown spot removal, PicoSure® will help you achieve visibly clearer, ink- and spot-free skin faster. Even difficult ink colors such as blues and greens, as well as previously treated tattoos, can be removed in fewer treatments with better clearance and improved recovery time.
The PicoSure® Difference: Pressure Wave Technology. PicoSure uses the latest technology to remove ink colors and brown spots by delivering ultra-short picosecond pulses of energy into the skin. These pulses create a photomechanical effect, or PressureWave, that targets ink and brown spots while avoiding unmarked tissue. PressureWave shatters the ink and brown spots into tiny, dust-like particles which are easily eliminated by the body. This results in clearer skin with fewer treatments without injuring the surrounding skin.
RevLite® Laser Tattoo Removal
The "Gold Standard" for removal of red pigment. Picosure is the treatment method we now use for all other tattoo colors. The RevLite offers 60% more power which means fewer treatments and the ability to remove tattoos to completion. Older technology such as the Medlite C3 and C6 often left a ghost of the image making it difficult to replace the image or having to cover up the residual tattoo.
The more effectively the ink molecules are reduced, the faster the tattoo can be removed. While our lasers provide faster and more consistent results which can potentially require fewer treatments than with other lasers which saves patients time and money - it is important to note that patients can still expect to receive multiple treatments based on various aspects of their individual tattoos.
- Permanently remove unwanted tattoos
- Treat virtually all colors and inks
- Remove previously treated tattoos
- Fewer treatments
- Faster recovery time
- Great results
Questions to ask before you go choose a laser tatto removal provider in North Carolina:

- Who will be using the laser during my procedure?

- What laser do they use for tattoo removal?
- How many treatments will I need?
- Will they consider your medical condition and history?
"Gus Anibarro, director of education for the Laser Institute of America, a professional society for laser use and safety, recommends that anyone seeking tattoo removal have it done by a doctor. Handled improperly, a laser used for tattoo removal could result in a first-, second-, or third-degree burn, he says."
